A quick question...How is this entertainment?
As the article notes, "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Patricia Heaton decided that her opinion about the Terri Schiavo case needed to be heard, and decided Entertainment Tonight was the perfect place to voice it.
Apparently, it's a very slow week in the entertainment industry. It's billed as ET's top story on commercials. I can't wait to see the segue from that into "Drew Barrymore's Weight Loss Secrets!" (which, according to the commercials is the other big story of the night.)
The article says that Heaton approached ET 'to make a passionate plea' about the case. I don't think the country needs a celebrity to be it's moral compass, but even if it does, isn't there a better place than ET to do that?
There's a reason "Entertainment" is a part of the title...
