Perhaps someday I will tell you more about me in this space. For now, you just have to learn it by reading my freakin' diary. Now get to it!

The DD and NFL Jerseys

2004-11-28|10:02 p.m.

So last night a few friends and I went bowling.

I was the DD (Designated Driver.) That gave me the chance to drive people around in my new car (see the last entry for a picture.)

New car or not, it seems that more often than not I am the DD... Not a big deal because I am not a big drinker, but sometime soon I think I may ask someone else to drive so I can cut loose.

The bowling alley we ended up going to is very near a college campus. (it's close to where a few of the guys lived.) I think we were the oldest people in there by 5 - 10 years.

If we continue to go to places like that, I am worried that someday soon people may start saying things like "Who brought their dad?" when I walk into the joint. (does saying that make me sound cool?)

There were several guys in the bowling alley wearing NFL jerseys. What makes people thing that wearing these is a good idea?

I think there should be a rule - if a guy wears a football jersey, you should be able to tackle them whenever you want. For example, a guy goes up to bowl, and right when he is releasing the bowling ball, BAM! he is tackled from behind and goes sliding down the lane.

Am I wrong for thinking that?
